Farmers Bank & Trust Announces Jacob Jones as Regional Credit Officer

Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) is proud to name Jacob Jones as Regional Credit Officer. In his expanded role, Jones will mentor analysts and lenders, as well as collaborate with loan review and special assets teams to help support customers and grow FB&T across its footprint of Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. 

Since joining FB&T in 2016, Jones most recently served as Hope Market President from 2019 to 2025, where he oversaw day-to-day operations and led the lending team for the Hope and Prescott locations. 

A Hope native, Jones is a graduate of Hope High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Arkansas University in 2004. He is also a 2021 alum of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.  

Jones is actively involved in his community, serving on the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Board of Visitors and the University of Hope-Texarkana Foundation Board, as well as the Hempstead County Economic Development Board and the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Board, where he serves as treasurer. He also serves on the Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center Board and is a member of the Hope Kiwanis Club and Bethany Baptist Church.
