Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) is proud to welcome Alyssa Komp as the new Agricultural Loan Officer in Paris. A lifelong resident, Komp possesses a strong background in accounting and agriculture.
As an Agricultural Loan Officer, Komp will work to build relationships with farmers and landowners across the Paris region and guide customers through the agricultural lending process.
She is a recent graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Agriculture, and her family has farmed the Paris area for over 75 years. With four generations of farming in her background, she is particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to support agricultural operations of any size in the region.
“From large industrial operations to small family farms, I am excited to join the Farmers Bank & Trust team to help serve the community I’ve called home my entire life,” said Komp. “I look forward to being a resource that the local agricultural community can rely on throughout every stage of their lending needs.”
Kelly Chambers, FB&T Market President, added, “Alyssa grew up here. She understands agriculture firsthand, and she genuinely cares about the people of Paris and the success of the farmers and community here. We are thrilled to have her on our lending team, and she will be a tremendous asset for our customers going forward.”
Komp is also a local business owner. She operates AK Cookie Co., a custom cookie-decorating business in Paris, and is an active churchgoer. She looks forward to becoming even more involved in the Paris community through her work with FB&T.
