Farmers Bank & Trust promotes Janet Choate to Hope Market President

Farmers Bank & Trust is proud to announce the promotion of Janet Choate to Hope Market President. In this new leadership role, she will oversee the daily banking operations and lead the lending team for all Hope and Prescott locations. 

Choate previously served as Senior Commercial Loan Officer in Hope and has specialized in lending since 2010. In total, she brings nearly 25 years of financial experience to her new role as Market President.  

A Hope native, Choate is a 1988 graduate of Hope High School and holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Henderson State University in 2001. 

Choate is a certified first responder and serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Blevins Volunteer Fire Department. She is also a board member with United Way of Hempstead County and Hope Lions Club and a member of Word of Faith Church in Blevins, Arkansas.
