$100K Donation Enhances Mineral Springs Football Field

Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) is thrilled to announce a $100,000 donation supporting the Mineral Springs School District. This significant contribution inaugurates a 10-year naming rights partnership for the Mineral Springs High School football field.

As part of the sponsorship, the Hornets’ stadium will now be known as “Famers Bank & Trust Field,” and FB&T logos have been painted around all four corners of the playing surface. The financial support from FB&T has also been instrumental in completing a much-needed turf resurfacing project at the Hornets’ home field.

“We are incredibly grateful to Farmers Bank & Trust for this extremely generous contribution,” said Billy Lee, superintendent for Mineral Springs Independent School District. “This partnership not only enhances our athletic facilities but also strengthens our commitment to providing our students and community with a top-tier experience at Mineral Springs. We look forward to the next decade of outstanding achievements at Farmers Bank & Trust Field.”

Kelly Chambers, Market President at Farmers Bank & Trust, stated, “At Farmers Bank & Trust, we’re all about supporting our local schools and communities. This sponsorship isn’t just a name for the stadium or field – it’s a clear signal that we’re here for Howard County, here for our schools, and here for our community members for years to come.”
